This is our gluten free zone. We have a separate fryer for the gluten free menu, a separate hot hold for the fish and a separate chip box. We have thought of everything: separate utensils, separate probes, even separate scissors to open the gluten free bags in the freezer.
Yes, we have separate fridges and freezers for our gluten free food, and a separate batter area too. We also have a separate built in filtration unit to clean the oil, so again, no cross contamination.

Stopped off for some lunch today. Catch of the day was haddock. Absolutely delicious! Freshness make so much difference to the taste. They also have a great gluten free menu which helped to feed the kids.

Phenomenal. Do not be fooled by the location, this is no ordinary fish and chip shop. Burnetts Fish and chips are unbeatable in every aspect if you are on the hunt for the best! The smell of the fryers is heavenly when you approach the cleanest of counters. Staff are efficient and friendly. Waiting is a comfy experience as you can sit and watch the customers flock to place their orders. Whether you are looking for traditional cod and chips or something a little different this is the place for you....also offering separate fryers and prep for gluten free options. Haddock is my favourite and it's always so fresh and tender with the light crispy batter - the chips perfectly crispy and fluffy inside. The homemade tartare sauce and fish cake are recommended. They cater for smaller appetites and hungry horses, nobody will be disappointed. If you're lucky you can see the master fryer working away in the back, providing you with years of frying experience with most modern of equipment. This establishment is a cut above the regular chippy. So pleased to have this local to me.
